A FREE Community Event

The Annual Boat Parade kicks off the start to boating season on Sunday May 7th! 

Would you like to be a part of the parade this year, but don’t have a boat? The M/V Pintail will be joining the parade and has room for any and all on deck. 

No need to RSVP. Just show up at Shipyard Cove Marina between 1:30 - 2:00 pm on Sunday May 7th. We’re located ta 1063 Turnpoint Road; it’s the turnoff before Jensen Marine when coming from Friday Harbor. We’re at the end of the pier. The parade starts at 2:20 and should last roughly an hour or so. We will return to Shipyard Cove. 

A couple of notes:

- Please bring your own life jackets. Kids 12 and under will need to wear theirs while on deck. Adults, please bring yours just to have on hand. Any children in baby carriers do not need to wear a life jackets, but again please make sure to bring a jacket along for them. Don’t have life jackets? Don’t let that deter you from joining. We have some spares, so just give us a ring: (605) 431-9580.

- We encourage you to bring a small snack or beverage to share with the group.

- If anyone is in a band, or knows a band - we would LOVE live music for the event. Please give us a ring if interested!
